To me all their food tasted the same! :P  I think a lot of their recipes used a similar 'shredded chicken' with red sauce.

The property was renovated by members of the local Peņa family.  It is now "Vito's" New York style pizza joint with, in my opinion, flavourless, rubbery pizza.

After taking to the younger manager I understood that pizza in New York style was supposed to be flavourless because you add the flavour to it at the table with sauces, herbs and spices. (Like ketchup, oregano, garlic salt, and dried pepper seeds or something.)

Their 'other' food offerings, however, are an interesting mix of typical Dominican food and other more Italian foods.  I believe the food is more affordable than other restaurants of the same caliber.

Yeah... About Vito's... I've had some former students of mine visit Jarabacoa within the past couple of weeks and they said that Vito's is Kaput!

So I suppose that the war between Pizza Calidad and Pizza y Pepperoni is back on!

I already miss Vito's.  Single Tear.

Vito's is gone.  You can now get soft-serve ice at that location.

aww. that's too bad. I enjoyed their authentic Dominican food. Can anyone get a photo of the new place and post it here?
Thanks.
